Gero Birkenmaier

Key account Manager M.I.C.E

Background: Account director for: Disneyland Paris, Dorint Hotels & Resorts, Corinthia Hotels, Orient-Express (Belmond). Well established in the hotel and travel industry since more than 15 years. Most recent position was as Sales Director Germany, Austria, Switzerland with the luxury hotel supplier Belmond which also operates luxury trains and river cruises. Especially during his employment with Belmond – formerly Orient-Express – and Corinthia Hotels, he gained extensive knowledge of the MICE segment in the German speaking markets. Gero actively sold events, for example with chartered trains and river cruise ships. His broad network includes decision makers and influencers of MICE agencies as well as corporate accounts.
During his career, Gero developed quickly from a Marketing Specialist – certified by the Chamber of Industry and Commerce Germany – to a pure Sales enthusiast.

She speaks fluent German and English and has good language skills in Spanish.

Her main tasks are:
- Support of Tahiti Tourism
- Newsletter preparation
- General office organisation

Candice Saugere

Job Title

After a MA in Management of International Relations and Tourism, Candice spent six years in Madrid as Product Manager of the Tahiti Tourism board for the Spanish market. A passion for French Polynesia as she grew up on the island of Tahiti and lived there for twenty years.

A great opportunity of European sales manager was offered to her, and she decided to move to Paris to keep going her carrier. In 2015 she joined Eyes2market as Senior Sales Manager for different hotels accounts.

Travelling, discovering new cultures, people, mentalities are part of her philosophy.

George Turns

Co-founder and Managing Director

George’s career spans several decades and, following 17 years in the military, he has worked on world risk management projects in Asia, Africa and the Middle East. He has also held prestigious roles as Managing Director of an IT technical company he co-founded, as Senior consultant to a blue-chip oil and gas company in West Africa, and as the Senior Project Manager to critical infrastructure projects in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, among others.

Isabelle Phou

Job Title

Isabelle had the opportunity to alternate studies and work experience all along her degree course. She first passed a two-year degree in Accountancy, Management & Marketing at Essilor International as a Management Assistant. After that, she graduated from a bachelor's degree in Marketing as a Marketing Assistant at Metro Cash & Carry. Thanks to this apprenticeship, she has been working in various sectors which allowed her to develop organization, interpersonal skills and team spirit. In September 2015, she decided to continue the adventure by joining the luxury hotels industry in Eyes2market France as a Marketing and Sales Assistant to reach her Master's degree in Marketing. Isabelle is a "Food Epicurean". Through her various travels to Cambodia, Vietnam, the USA and many European countries, she has been able to discover and enjoy a lot of new tastes, flavors & habits.
